So... approximately a month ago, after discovering TLC's show "Extreme Couponing", I started researching how one would accomplish anywhere close to the savings shown on the show in Canada. I had always been passively collecting coupons, but was the type of person to simply use a coupon when it was time to purchase a certain item I was out of, without using any strategy. I've since started following a few blogs and coupon websites in Canada, actively hunting down coupons, making the best out of store rewards programs, price matching, using mail-in-rebates and most importantly, matching coupons to in-store or advertised specials to get the best bang for my buck. Since starting, I've likely saved a pile of money already. Below are the deals I've gotten since starting.
